The TSA women staffs in New York JFK Airport are very wicked to fellow women and mothers. One laughed at me while my baby was crying. They do not care if you are struggling with all your things, plus a baby. They give express access to people on wheel chair being pushed around and helped than a struggling mother and a crying baby. They made me push my stroller to a longer line. It was a nightmare. When I complained , the TSA staff asked me to give my child to a stranger and go to the longer cue. I will avoid that airport as long as I live. Nightmare

I don’t understand these ceremonies from I feel that I must be missing something where’s the recognition for the people who lost their lives trying to keep the terrorists away from other buildings and awards for the people who go to work every day and night to see how they can do their jobs so that our airports are clean and safe from other things like the 911 aerial attacks on American soil. Please don’t forget the fact that some people who didn’t get these prestigious awards are out there too but probably sadly aren’t recognized by TSA because they don’t feel like they are doing anything above and beyond their jobs because they feel that they are just doing their jobs but many other people should probably be considered for our futures. When someone is nominated by someone else obviously they were going above and beyond their job and should all be at least recognized. Seriously this is is crazy

I flew for first time since about 2004 from el paso texas to my hometown and county airport cak about two weeks ago an was glad I did I took greyhound bus from toledo ohio to el paso tx for about $244 one way but took almost 4 days. Never again. When I flew to my airport my flights were on time an I got back home same day It was not to bad tsa check . My first time since 2004 for minor inconvenience I prefer flying now if in hurry to get home since my airport smaller one I think we do not have as many officers for tsa now than other airports.my favorite mode of transportation is still amtrak train. Will continue to travel by train as able.

WTF? This is new to Americans? This has been done in Australia (where I live) since at least the year 2000, the first time I went on a flight (overseas). But we have never done the shoe thing though. That doesn't make sense - the whole body scanner would still pick up on that. It beeps for ANY metal at all (such as the little studs on jeans) and they'll overlook that in Australia. I really hope they don't impose the shoe thing on people with limited mobility though, such as VERY elderly people, people in wheelchairs, people with crutches etc. That's just too extreme for words: to make people take off their shoes who aren't even physically able.

I don't trust the cleanliness of that floor.
